Same as queer_theory. If I watch it just because I enjoy it, I stop watching it basically right away when I stop enjoying it (did so with House MD and HIMYM)
Sadly, glee has too many roots in my life - I absolutely adore the cast, most of my fandom friends are from there. I've decided I won't be watching after S3 (what's the point without Chris and Lea?), but now it's a miracle if I last until the mid-season hiatus, and that'll be because I want to see Chord again.
But this show is the biggest slap to the face I've ever witnessed. It's as if I started reading Harry Potter, fell in love with it, and a year later it suddenly turned into Twilight.
