Frying

Every time I fry it reminds me why I don't fry things. My 3 burned fingers and one blister say hello.

But at least the cast iron got a good seasoning out of it.

Yeah the fried potatoes were really good, I always end up with hot oil splashed on my hand or arm or something though lol.

I tend to burn things and set off fire alarms. :-S

I set off the fire alarm in the apartment once cause I burnt sugar. Luckily it was just the individual apartment and not the complex, also luckily the sprinklers didn't come on lol. I no loger attempt to do anything involving my pan and sugar.

I managed to burn soup once. And potatoes that i was boiling... I'm rather easily distracted.

Ouch. Perhaps less oil and a lower temperature are in order.

Cast iron is love.

This time I actually dropped the spoon I was using to fish the potatoes out of the oil on my hand, how I managed it idk, but I'm cursed where I cannot fry anything w/o burning myself somehow

I don't like frying either. and I still have the leftofvers of my scar that I got when I was like 3 when I put an iron on my hand while I wanted to iron my dad's shirt. I almost never iron things since then, lol.
