The Last Man

Ok so much of this episode was full of hate for me. I hated how Rodney acted in his timeline, it seemed so ooc to me. I hated how they reacted to John when he returned, just a massive ball of hate in this episode.

I just, I really, really, really, REALLY, did not like her at all, and evertime I saw her I thought, would someone blow you up please.

Nah, it doesn't matter. I didn't like Keller that much that I'd get all defensive, as with, say, Rodney.

It would be good from a Rodney angst perspective if she got eaten, but not really. I don't like the way fandom (in general) doesn't like her.

I'm curious as to why you didn't like her, because I might indeed be a bit snippy if it's because she took Rodney away from the McShep OTP (which is the most common assumption I have about why peeps don't like her)

Actually partially it is Rodney, not because it took from John, but because she just didn't fit with him. I've done this rant before.
She is they type that would always want more from him, want him to change, be more focused on her than his work, which he just wouldn't do. She fit much better with Ronon because he would of worshiped her and made her his world. Rodney needed someone who would understand that he wasn't gonna change, another scientist or such.
I really like the actress, it's just the way she was written, just irked me all over.

The writing made her a bit of a Mary-Sue, but I din't mind her that much.

I don't really see her fitting with Ronon either. The man has too many skeletons in his closet (wraith skeletons, mainly). He'd have to work trough all of that first, and i doubt he'd commit himself fully to anything until his mission is done (killing all the wraith), because the man is driven.

I didn't like her that much in Missing. I thought she was too young to be the head of the med team on Atlantis. I also thought Rodney went very OOC around her (soppy Rodney isn't very fun - I like him snarky and intense with the snapping fingers)

I like McKay/Keller more than the Ronon/Keller probably mostly because Rodney is my fav character, I was glad he got her. I didn't really pay much attention to the characterisation or how it happened until I came into online fandom more. I can't really be bothered with any of it now (BOFQ)

All that being said, I didn't dislike Keller ;)

I think my biggest problem with it, was just knowing so many people irl like Rodney, that I knew there was no way in hell it would work lol. Plus I agree Rodney went way OOC with that.

Ronon, I can at least see him more than Rodney even with his past, though he would probably be to violent for her(not toward her, but the fact he is such a soldier. Which is why I guess she just didn't fit the show in my mind at all and I wanted her to shooo.

I disliked Keller so much. The actress is awesome, but the character... If you're the best of the best, why do you have to keep questioning and whining about being apart of something that huge? Put on your Big Girl pants and suck it up... Or go home to the Milky Way.
