Rest assured, we are paying close attention to all of your feedback. Problems with actual functionality (inability to use the new form or aspects of it, slow load times, crashes, etc) have been reported and are being worked on. We're also aggregating all your feedback about the presentation and usability of the commenting form in the general sense, including items missing from the previous version, and the appropriate project teams are reviewing this feedback to help guide what further changes will be made. Thank you for your patience as we continue to work on the new commenting system.

AKA, we will continue to act like we care until everyone moves to Dreamwidth where they actually do care, and respond to complaints.

Basically you implemented and entirely non-functional comment system, even after the Beta told you it was crap...why? Cause you paid for it. You knew it wouldn't go over well so you made sure to never announce it in English until it was implemented.

The choosing an icon is completely clunky and the search function doesn't work right. We cannot preview our comment so lets just hope we don't screw anything up. Screened comments are about impossible to read. Lack of subject lines render many comms unable to function. The fact that a lot of people cannot even LOAD the new system.

Yeah this is a real brilliant update LJ. I'm just sad I can't cancel my paid journal and get my money back because the lack of respect you show your users is unexceptable.

There is a DW post HERE about the back up of importing peoples journals.

IDK LJ people seem pretty pissed off this time. BEtter fix it.

That is kind of awesome. I really hope LJ gets a clue cause I have to say everything I have seen with Dreamwidth's staff and their response and talking with their users is kind of amazing

yessss it really is awesome!! I love how they are interacting with people. But I think it stems from them all being fans only on LJ at one point and just getting pissed. So they get it. I hope this does big things for them and nothing but awful things for LJ. Karma's a bitch LJ.

If only I had any faith that they'd actually do anything about that feedback. (I'm sure there are LJ staff members who are just as frustrated as we are. Unfortunately, I don't think they have any power.)

I think short of landcoms and friends who say they will never leave lj no matter what(which you know it'll happen eventually whether they bore of it or find some other site) I could easily move over here.

i'm getting quite comfy here. But I doubt I"ll ever completely leave LJ. Unless SGL and Farscape_land can move over here well. hahah

yeah i'm the same, i'm actually really enjoying it over here and i know the pages won't give me a MIGRANE to look at them.
