A Real Non-Pimping Post

I know, I've been completely missing unless you caught me on IM. First being sick, then Thanksgiving and then my birthday. BUSY BUSY.

So I shall break this post of giantness into several cuts and you can read what you want, or just ignore the lots of it lol.




So I seem to be all better, I'm fully through all my antibiotics and haven't had any pains, so hopefully they knocked out the infection.

Thanksgiving was good, we got the Cracker Barrel Thanksgiving to go, which is Turkey, Dressing, Gravy, 3 sides (we got Mac-n-Cheese, Turnip Greens, and Sweet Potato Casserole), cranberry sauce, Ham, and biscuits. Then I made, Deviled Eggs, stuffed celery, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes. THEN PIE.

Then Monday birthday full of Cake, the same one I always get from Publix, cause it is amazing. Though usually you have the drizzled layer of hard chocolate on the top. Instead mine has a full quarter inch layer of hard chocolate on the top lol. My present was my laptop that I got last month early since mine broke, but mom also got me some toe socks, a pretty amber ring, and one of Rachel Ray's deviled egg dishes (I have so much Rachel Ray stuff, seriously, I love all her stuff)

Now I need to clean, cause the house is still a mess from when I was sick, full of boxes and whatnot cause I haven't taken out the recycling in weeks, cause every time I had time/wasn't sick it's been pouring down rain or the bins have been full, but it has finally stopped raining, and the bins were emptied a few hours ago so TODAY IS THE DAY.

Then goes up the Christmas decorations. TIS THE SEASON.

So I think I'm going to cut most of my coms, I basically already have, I have a couple new ones, and HiH, but I've really just lost the love for a lot of fandoms.
I find it hilarious I used to say if I left a com a bunch of people would no longer interact with me cause well, used to be I was a heavy point earner and I figured they just wanted me to stay active, and the main person who would tell me oh that's not true at all, is the one who stopped talking to me first. Both sad and hilarious all in one.

HiH is a killer, even though I failed November SO MUCH. Having the month long adventure and hogsmeade in the same month, killer. And the month long adventure sorta falls flat compared to last term :( I swear we had like a challenge every day last time, and this time it feels like we've had none. And I'd go on but anyway. Also I'm way behind in flourish, once again busy month, so it's been 2 weeks since I've updated or delivered, which I hope to manage to do both today *crosses fingers* I also haven't wrote my Prophet article cause I passed out last night, I have it almost done, but I had the desire to update. I'm debating if I want to apply for a mod position again next term or not. I think I'd be sad if I didn't have one, but part of it makes me sad so idk. ALSO IF YOUR NOT AN ANAMIGI GO APPLY.

Ok, so at the end you have the thing that Regina had a piece of and that Henry had found a piece of but dropped. Was that glass from Snow White's Coffin? That was my first instinct when I saw it on TV, but I'm not really sure if that was what it was. And if it was what does that mean? Was the fairytale land buried, is it still actually there? Why would that coffin exist in this world? Unless Emma being there is making cracks and allowing things to come through????

I just felt bad when I read that because I have noticed you missing, but couldn't bring myself to say much while I was trying to get myself all better. I left all the landcomms I played at and only paid attention to bbland and fringe (although not well for those two) and NCIS.. I didn't even read my flist.

YAY for getting better! I know how that goes, there have been times I disappear for over a year, and just shut down.

It was a horrid move when I moved back in september and I came to grips with some serious hoarding and housekeeping issues and people had to see it and I didn't realize how bad it was till other people came in, (no use hiding it from my friends on here now).. Then I cracked.. New house = new start though!! YAY!!

Ah, my dad had serious hording issues, well we all have a bit of it, but he was the worst. And our house was, basically barely able to walk around and having to step over boxes ect. It wasn't like food and stuff, well ok, there was some of that cause I'm a horrible housekeeper, but also walls of boxes of books and stuff from when he taught, always talking about we could sell the stuff so we can't throw it out.

Then the flood happened May of 05, and we had 3ft of water in the house, so everything was ruined cause the water wicked up and the mold settled ect. And for like 2 weeks dad was determined me and him could clean out the house by ourselves, but there was just no way, he finally broke down and let the churches and volunteers help and it got knocked out in 2 days, but it was just the embarrassment of people seeing what the house looked like ect.

Moving in and living in the apartment has been a huge start over, though we do still have 2 garages full of stuff here that they rent these garages on the property, but it's a lot cheaper then storage units, so we are working through it all, and it's not crowding the house so it's much better.

It was the people coming in and seeing it that really made me look at it different and I told my parents and my best friend to NOT let me ever do that again. Ever! Come visit me, don't let me say, "no you can't come over today I can come to you?!" and so on.. so far it has been tons better. We took $250 dollars worth of truck loads to the garbage dump from the other house.. Now I have far less stuff and I have the if I don't need it I can throw it away mentality all set up!! and I do have people coming over to make sure I am doing good!! So it is all getting better.. But going through all that really worked me over and was emotionally draining and I stepped back from EVERYTHING online that I could get away with. But now that I am back in control in the house I can play more now :D

When i stopped modding whedonland, a lot of people stopped talking to me. its like all they cared about was being friends with the mod so now i don't make it so easy to friend me. Which means i miss out on some cool people but oh well. THERE IS MORE TO LIFE THAN LAND COMMS THOU.

Yeah there are a lot of people who are just I WANNA BE FRIENDS WITH THE MOD, like that is going to get them something lol. This one more then any really bothered me cause I thought we were really close and I left then boom :(

I dropped all but Stargateland and Farscapeland. FSL is my baby so no way I'm backing out of that; plus, it's small but the tight knit group we have there is really amazing. Our rewatches are really popular too - we have an awesome bunch that come in faithfully and we have so much fun.

Stargateland was my first landcomm and I want an outlet for Cam/Vala but lately it seems really quiet too. I'm guessing it's just the holiday season. At least, I hope. Honestly, I'm always quiet - spamming just is not in my nature. I had fairly select group of people from landcomms that I friended on lj, and it was always because they seemed like cool people I wanted to get to know better. Despite being in 4 landcomms, and being fairly active in those for a while, I think I came out of it with about a dozen new friends. And hey, one of them just unfriended me this morning, which... not gonna lie, kinda hurt since as I said I am sort of selective about who I put my energy toward getting to know, but that's life. I try to comment on real life posts but if someone only posts about a fandom I'm not in, I guess it looks like I just don't care when I don't reply to those posts.

I got really rambly here, sorry. :D But, I'm glad to see you posting again!
