Today I=Awesome

In case you were wondering, today I am awesome. Do you know why? No you don't BUT I will tell you.

Today I went candy shopping (WITH COUPONS, awesomeness #1)

Bought what would appear to many too much, yet I found it about right(including the secret bags stashed for later)

Now I have not slept in oh 24 hours, and only a few hours the day before that, not for lack of trying mind you...and sleeping pills, so I am wonky...yet can't sleep, but oh well anyway.

Because of this I decide I'LL MAKE THE CANDY BAGS. (since we are having trick-or-treating here tonight, i know i know wtf...but anyway) So I get my bags of candy and dump them. I then separate and count each kind. YES PLANNING. I know I have 80 bags, with 60 for older and 20 for the itty bitties.

SO I divide out each thing, each bag gets;

one of each flavor laughy taffy(4)

2 dum dum suckers of different flavors of course

A box of dots or a Tootsie Roll of some kind; older kids get the big block ones then the hard suckers, then into the other if nesc. aka 1 of the long or 2 of the small flavored.

Then 2 "good candy" aka Hershey bars, crunch bars, butterfingers, snickers, or m&m's

Then we do the little ones

3 dumdums of different flavors

the long toostie rolls for less chocking hazzard(it's going to the parents anyway)

And only Hershey bars & M&M's for them

Now if we go beyond that amount, which I doubt but if it happens we dip into the other 2 bags of Hershey bars and mixed good stuff and they late comers will just get 2/3 good pieces of candy.


See...I rock Halloween candy, therefore I=Awesome

I'm not sure why either, but the cities closest to me are also doing trick or treating tonight.

You are so much more organized than I am. My candy hand out goes like oh you are so little and cute you get a handful and when the high school kids get here they get a scowl and one piece.
