Do some people try and offer more 'nutritious' treats now that people are more health-conscience these days? =p Can't imagine that would go down well with the kids.

Date: 2011-10-19 02:18 pm (UTC)One of the big things is that here they drill into the kids/parents you don't eat anything that isn't in original wrapping so that leaves out a lot of healthier stuff though you do have the people that give apples and prunes. I've also seen houses that give out Halloween themed pencils or other school supplies too.
There are a lot of dentist that after Halloween give money for candy which I always found kinda goofy but apparently a lot do that. Usually $1-2 a pound.

It's like one Easter my Grandma thought we had enough chocolate given to us so she gave us money instead, I wasn't complaining about that! Though I probably just spent it on more chocolate at that time anyway =p
