So the latest landcom secrets are up, and meanness abounds lmao. If these are the non-mean one's I'd hate to see what the mean ones look like.

One is about being a fail team leader. Which I am, but it's hard to be a team leader, when the team doesn't seem to care. *shrugs* But I've dropped one of my two, and I'm going to drop the other. Though I don't think that secret was about me personally...though it could of been I suppose.

Ah well, I've been thinking of dropping more coms, actually I've been thinking of dropping everything but HiH. I'm just not really enjoying landcoms much anymore, it all feels so repetitive, most times when I see a new challenge in my inbox I'm like ughhh.

Also I've lost my love for a lot of those shows too, NCIS I haven't liked the past 2 season, I'm not even watching it anymore, Farscape idk I go through phases with it where I really like the show, but it's hard with a off air show.

I'm rambling, anyway, I'll probably do a sum up of all the new shows and how I like them in a couple days.

ETA: Ok I have to decided to go on mass hiatus from landcoms for Ocotber, get back in the zone, calm, ext. Hopefully I'll be back full force come November♥

I dunno, i kinda like the secrets becuase i feel like if someone couldn't tell me something cos they thought it would hurt my feelings - they could put it there, but then i've had REALLY mean stuff posted aobut me in the past so i don't love it either

if helps, i'm 95% sure that the secret is NOT directed at you, and you're not really that bad. If you were terrible, i would step in but its not like anyone else is posting reminders either.

i completely agree about farscape land, and the feeling of repetitiveness - i'm tempted to see stuff.

yeah well according to the anon comments there was mod meaness back at them which no one else is posting anything either so that can't be me lmao.

I like the secrets but I really wish they would just post everything, but you also have the fact that you don't know who is running it, so since you can't anon post secrets, then you wonder if they would see you posting a secret about them, I know several who haven't posted secrets since they don't know who is running it.

As for fantasyverse idek I'm so lost between life and coms and whatever I'm probably going to end up on hiatus anyway.

Cause one of the things we really tried to do was come up with some challenges we hadn't seen anywhere.

I know I'm a total newb at modding but man I was not prepared for what will prob end up being at least 1/4 of the members deciding to leave. ;_; I need thicker skin, LOL. Cause individually i GET everyone's reasons and I don't hold it against anyone in specific, it's just seeing that whole list of names all at once... ughhhh.

Ugh I so agree with you. Some of those non-mean secrets are really kind of mean.

I'm a team mod over at fandomverse and it's hard to be a mod for a team that doesn't participate, but that comm is kind of dieing. But I think that kind of happens when one team has 5 more members than the other team and they're winning everything. Literally on the last challenge where I put up a help post that practically gave the answers away only three members of my team participated and I was one of them. So frustrating.

Is it bad when you don't want to do any of the activities for a comm? I've gotten that way with several comms and this is coming from someone who's had 100% participation for them in the last couple of rounds. I'm just not that interested anymore.

So sorry my comment is also rambling, but reading those secrets kind of built up a need to vent :D

I didn't do the Video thing, sadly, if that's the one you mean. Couldn't get into it at all, especially since I didn't recognise a single thing, which in turn meant I didn't get any glee/enthusiasm to do it - my own fault, really. Should have just gotten on with it! So, I'm sorry about that ♥

Don't worry about the Video thing. :) I barely did it at the last moment too and that's when I decided I wasn't going to do the ones I wasn't that interested in, because i wasn't that interested in it. It just seems like more and more of the challenges I could care less about. It's the same with tvrealm too though.

But I know what you mean about needing a break. I did that in May. Just left all of them, and didn't really go back till August. It was kinda nice to do that. Maybe me realize which ones I liked/missed and which ones I didn't.

I don't like the mean secrets (I know I've gotten my share about them). And I kinda feel like you should be able to say it as yourself, but that's just me :P And I think it's good to have a way to talk about things you might not say otherwise. I mean things to help you improve not just "she's just a horrible mod, and she should stop modding" idk

But the hiatus sounds like a good idea, if your land-comm interest is failing you might just need a break and come back strong :D
