Update after FLAIL weekend

I believe I will have perfect participation so hopefully I will have a billion banners to post soon.
It was exhausting, and I'm not sure that my brain is fully functioning again but it was also (one last time) TOTALLY AWESOME
Now I have to link all my stuff for Knight Week(which is a Hufflepuff house thing where we do a ton of stuff) and this entire week is Knight Week so that will be exhausting too.
Umm I was going to make this big long entry but just thinking about Hogsmeade has killed my brain.
Oh I remember, Glee fandom makes me sad, I swear it is the most mean fandom I have ever been involved in. I had stopped looking at anything about it but I needed a couple new gifs and hit tumblr and yeah the meanness there just kills me and just gives me more reason to cut myself off from most of the fandom cause it's just horrible.(OMG look at all the "just"s)
But I did go see GLEE 3D but it was really fun though I wish there had been less filler and more of the concert. There were 3 Warbler songs which was more than I expected them to show. You could tell the difference in experience/style of the cast. Lea and Darren were by far the most comfortable on stage which was expected. Chris was very bouncy and fun I loved watching him in the background. Everyone else was great but you could tell it wasn't something they were used to doing.
Hmm, there was more, oh new friends from HiH *waves* welcome to my ramblings.
Today I have to start back on my other landcoms, I had gotten ahead through today in preperation of Hogsmeade so now back to challenges being due.

I think since I'm not that involved, besides gleeverse and reading/commenting on stories, that I just don't see the drama that goes on. Although the ship wars in this fandom make me think Armageddon is coming and too make me sad. Can't we all just get along? :D
I'm so jealous you got to see Glee 3D. I'm hoping to go this week sometime if my friend doesn't flake out on me. Even if she does I might just go by myself.

Date: 2011-08-15 01:59 pm (UTC)The ship wars are psycho. I think cause it has such a large teenage following you get more of the drama. But it's mainly how mean people are about the actors. It's like they are two different people, but then they start in about how they hate the actor just cause not cause of the character and yeah it's horrible. Plus the ship wars are terrible it's like seriously IT'S NOT REAL PEOPLE. But yeah I've gotten to where I just mostly talk about it with people I know won't go psycho and avoiding all the other stuff.
And yay Hogsmeade next time, it was killer but TONS O FUN

Date: 2011-08-15 03:16 pm (UTC)Yeah the ship wars are really bad. I like both Klaine and well written Kurtofsky, and you would not believe the hate some of the Kurtofsky shippers have for not only Blaine, but Darren.
I agree that the hate for the actors is a little ridiculous. It seems like any time I go to a general comm about Glee there is a lot of hate for Chris or Darren, mostly because they have so much screen time. I've started avoiding those now.
I'm so looking forward to joining Hogwarts is Home, you have no idea. ♥

I've got my friends I've made on the fringes of fandom and I just sort of avoid the rest. The negativity is killer. I just don't want that around me anymore.
