gleeverse has not been going on that long and people are just being MEAN. I mean first the teachers team get attacked for working the rules for the tag banner challenge in their favor and coming out on top. Now New Directions is being attacked because we got to all the good coms for pimping first and got lots of referals, plus we encouraged everyone who didn't want to pimp to use the coms that were specifically made for that to do it. I know losing suck but in landcom terms a 500 point lead really isn't that much. All of this is just making me want to go away from gleeverse but I love my team, and the mod is amazing but it just hurts that people are being so cruel over a few points. I mean really aren't we just supposed to be having fun and the points/teams are secondary???Ok that's all now I'm gonna go do a puzzle so I don't say something mean to someone and cause even ore drama.

I'm a bit sad though. During the first two sectionals gleeverse was the only happy rainbow filled place of the fandom, IDK, is it the new members who bitch all the time or what?

IDK if it's just new members or what, but what I know Kait talking like well ND has one lets call this one makes me kinda feel really bad, though her being a mod I'm sure that's not how it was meant but yeah it just makes me feel icky. And how them and teachers will compete for 2nd place, like we are the red headed stepchild that no one wants to play with.

Nope, we didn't waste our energy on that, we invested it in working harder. And yes, that comment about competing for 2nd place is really tactless, 500 gap is NOTHING, and as a team leader she should motivate her team, shouldn't she?!
I'm so confused, this is not the gleeverse I fell in love with. :/

After the crazyness of tag banners i was actually dreading the scores of pimp. I knew people were going to go mental. I didnt even put a last minute reminder up like I usually do.
*hugs* I found it easy to get rid of steam by taking my mind off of everything internet related. I went for a huge walk the other day after that chat. I helped heaps.

Date: 2011-05-02 01:33 pm (UTC)See I love just being apart of the community, part of a team, and polishing my skills in the challenges. For me, it's all about the fun aspect of being a part of something.
I mean I want my team to win of course, but I'm not going to complain that another team did better than mine in a particular challenge. We're barely at the beginning of the sectional so there is more than enough time that the final outcome is still undetermined.
The complaining about the unfairness of the results does need to stop though. It really puts a damper on me wanting to participate. :(

Date: 2011-05-03 03:37 pm (UTC)I think after this initial hump, everything will settle down; a lot of the results are going to be close from here on out, and I can already see the morale in some of the teams changing slowly. This is a MAJOR roadblock, but I think the teams can get over it, and will forget all about this drama.
Don't worry about it - no team is doing anything wrong, it is just very competitive now that all the teams have a chance, which is unusual for this comm. People will get used to it. :)
