"The Blue."
"No, the green."
"Come on, the blue is much prettier."
"But, that's a boy color we should get the green, that's much more neutral."
"No the green is too...green."
"Of course it's green, that's why they call it green, what if it's a girl, and then she'll be stuck in a blue room and think she was supposed to be a boy."
"Honey I don't think the baby will know the difference."
Alice sighed glancing about the pile of paint swatches, "How are we ever going to pick out anything for the babies if we can't even pick a color for the room."
Hatter smiled, "Once we pick a color everything will be easier."
Alice started to speak only to get distracted by very pregnant woman arguing with what Alice could only guess was her husband.
"DANIEL, I don't care how much you hate pink MY daughter is going to have pink in her room somewhere, just be glad I'm even consulting you on this, I could of just painted everything pink and been done with it. The walls are going to be light blue and the trim is GOING to be pink do you understand me?"
The man that Alice could only assume was Daniel glanced about at everyone staring then leaned in and grabbed a cann of pink paint, "Right pink trim, anything else Vala?"
The woman glared and started off down the aisle mumbling about men with no sense of style.
Looking back at Hatter Alice saw that he seemed a bit paler, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing, nothing" he said clearing his throat, "I was just thinking green would be a good idea after all," and he scurried off down the aisle with the swatch looking for the right can of paint.
Alice smiled and laughed to herself, "Wonder if I should go find that Vala woman and thank her."
