So people suck....because they did the exact same thing to a girl my senior year. They all ganged up on this girl who was not popular and overweight and nominated her for homecoming court. But the administration decided that the nominators had...nefarious plans for this nomination and put the kibosh on it. So I never found out exactly what they wanted to do, which was good. Because my class was incredibly cruel.
Thank god high school is OVER.
I was totally Mercedes, except I didn't have a Sam to save me from the stigma of going to prom alone. I asked the guy I was crushing on (who was already taking someone else), my dance partner in the musical that year (whose parents wouldn't let him go) and then another guy who I was on the newspaper staff with in a fit of desperation (who boycotted the prom because it was stupid.)
