I'm busy but not really busy, you know?

I'm still complete disgusted with livejournal, it's more their lack of respect than anything else. I have a feeling that fandom really will leave this time, especially once DW has the import community working. LJ seems to no longer want fandom there, which is stupid, but whatever, I'll take my money elsewhere bastards.

In other news, I closed my Flourish shop. I kept going back and forth, but I kind just decided all at once about 30 minutes ago and just did it. I've lost my mojo I think.

I'm debating if I want to apply for some other mod duty at HiH, something that doesn't involve screened comments <.< I may wait and see what no one applies for and go from there. Once again no one wants Animagus it seems, which I'm not surprised, it's a whole lot of work for little reward. Being a mod period is usually a lot of work and no recognition. Plus you can't vote on Animagus apps, which at max means you losing out on up to 60 knuts a months, plus the enjoyment a lot of people get out of picking the animals for applicants. Anywho.

I think I may go back to just doing challenges and not being heavily involved in anything else for a while. But next thing you know I'll be modding 5 things and in 20 lands again.

More LJ crap

Another LJ News post complete ignoring all the major problem/issues everyone has with Update 88. I think this has just further proven that the LJ staff don't give a fuck about any of us.

Thank-you LJ, for once again completely ignoring all the major problems.

The color scheme causes eye strain and can trigger migraines.

The New comment setup while a good idea lack several things to make it even close to as functional as it was before.

Making the icon react by hover doesn't de-clutter, it just leave giant blank space when not hover that looks out of place, plus people who use mobile devices can't hover.

People who use html in comments NEED a preview button to check their coding. I know that we can edit, but in the time we are editing someone replies to say oh your code is broken, so now we cannot fix it.

The screened comments in the very light grey are almost impossible to read

The new icon selection, while a nice idea, would be better with an alphabetical order option or an option to view text only for those with slower connections.

There are those on slower connection who CANNOT even load the new comment form.

We really NEED subject lines. Couldn't you have just made it where if someone doesn't put something in the subject line it shows nothing, instead of "No Subject" That would of had the same result and allowed communities who need subject to keep them

igrick Has been verbally abusive toward YOUR paying users, as well as claiming that they are just lying and there are no problem. He should be fired, or at least forced to publicly apologize for the things he has said.
